The move from DigitalSoccer Project to Panini Digital, 20 years of history of the Brescia-based company.

Panini Digital is formed at the start of the 1990s, the brainchild of Mircea Lucescu, manager of Brescia at the time. In the beginning, the company wasn't called Panini Digital yet but DigitalSoccer Project or more simply, DSP.

At a time when digital media use in sport was almost non-existent, Lucesce claimed great credit for conceiving, asking for and obtaining the early rudimentary tools for the statistical analysis of a football match.

Initially, it all boiled down to a portable computer connected to a voice recognition device and two professional video recorders, with matches analysed in an extremely modest garage on the outskirts of Brescia. But this was only the beginning.

Over the years, DigitalSoccer Project had the strength and capacity to constantly grow while attempting to anticipate, from time to time, the needs of the technical staff, supporting them in their daily work with tools with increasingly higher technology content. This led to close collaboration with some of the top managers in the world, including Massimiliano Allegri, Carlo Ancelotti, Fabio Capello, Antonio Conte, Roberto Donadoni, Marcello Lippi, Cesare Prandelli, Claudio Ranieri, Arrigo Sacchi, Maurizio Sarri, Giovanni Trapattoni and Zdenek Zeman.

This constant exchange of ideas with the top professionals allowed the company to reach increasingly higher quality standards, until it became the absolute leader in the Italian market.

Today Panini Digital has a partnership with most Serie A and B clubs and with several foreign clubs.

Since 2000 DigitalSoccer Project became a part of the Panini Group taking its current name, Panini Digital.
